Profile
Chohan Carriers Ltd. has over 10 years experience as a service based transportation company. We operate in Canada from British Columbia to Ontario and throughout the 48 states of the continental USA.
Chohan prides itself with a strong customer base. An effective strategy has been to determine customer's needs and priorities, then meet those needs with dependable quality service. While lots of companies can do a job, Chohan Carriers Ltd. strives to be the one that can do it well consistently.
Chohan Carriers highway fleet consists of 22 highway tractors and over 30 trailers. The trailer equipment is very diversified including container chassis, flat decks, Super B trains, and quad axles. Most of the maintenance on the trailing equipment is done in-house by certified mechanics at our Langley terminal.
The high ratio of trailers to power units enables Chohan Carriers to take on large and equipment intensive contracts.
Our transportation experience includes hauling general merchandise with extensive experience in precast concrete, construction material, farm machinery, forestry products, structural steel and containers.
Chohan Carriers is proud for its continued growth and is striving to be the best in customer service and safety in the Flatdeck industry.
Chohan Carriers will continue to be a proud and successful company benefiting from and contributing to the trucking industry.
Safety
Chohan carriers takes pride in operating one of the most well maintained fleets in the trucking industry. To insure this quality we inspect our trucks and trailers when they arrive back into our yard. When a driver enters one of our safety lanes, he/she does not just get fuel and an opportunity to clean his windows. A trained safety lane attendant will perform a safety check of the truck and trailer to insure it is safe to operate on public roadways. All of the lights on the truck and trailer are checked to verify that they illuminate and function properly. The tires are checked to insure they are within depth guidelines and meet all DOT tire regulations. The brakes are also inspected to insure they are in proper working order. Finally, the truck and trailer are visually checked for any structural defects and hazards. By performing these checks we help minimize unwanted road side breakdowns. More importantly though, we assure our trucks are safe to share the roads with you and your family.
